TITLE: Event Coordinator
JOB TYPE: Part-time, seasonal (April - October)
PAY RATE: $23-25/hour plus incentives

ABOUT THE JOB:
- Execute day-of weddings, corporate meetings, and other special events.
- Manage Event Setup Process as directed by the Catering Manager
- Create invoices as they pertain to the events
- Correspond with clients to answer questions or resolve concerns
- Create and adhere to comprehensive timeline
- Greet and assist external vendors with any setup needs
- Conduct final inspections prior to event start to ensure everything adheres to client’s standard
- Follow up with clients post-event with satisfaction survey
- Conduct site tours for prospective clients throughout the season as directed by the Catering Manager
- Act as a professional representative to the Nonantum Resort at wedding shows
- Interact with coworkers in a professional, courteous manner. Demonstrate teamworking skills
- Possibility to work part-time in another department to reach full-time hours, if desired
ABOUT YOU:
- 2 years of wedding coordinating experience at a hotel/resort required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to course correct when needed
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with a diverse team and with proper etiquette
- Proven success of managing multiple projects and deadlines with attention to detail
- A willingness to learn and to adapt to “The Nonantum Way”
- Experience with PMS and catering software
- Attention to detail and ability to correctly enter BEOs, invoices, etc.
