About Us: The Noor Project is dedicated to improving lives and fostering meaningful change through our initiatives. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Fundraising Manager to join our team in a hybrid role. This individual will lead fundraising efforts, cultivate donor relationships, and expand our donor development department, contributing significantly to the growth and success of our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
Fundraising:
- Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to meet annual revenue goals.
- Identify, cultivate, and solicit major gifts from individuals, corporations, foundations, and other funding sources.
- Create and manage fundraising campaigns, including online giving, direct mail, and special events.
- Track and report on fundraising progress, providing regular updates to the executive team and board of directors.
Donor Cultivation and Stewardship:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing donors, ensuring regular communication and acknowledgment of their contributions.
- Develop and implement strategies to engage and retain donors, including personalized stewardship plans.
- Identify and cultivate new donor prospects, expanding the donor base across various regions.
Department Expansion:
- Lead the development and expansion of The Noor Project's donor development department across different regions.
- Collaborate with regional teams to identify local fundraising opportunities and tailor strategies to specific markets.
Volunteer and Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise a team of volunteers and donor development team members.
- Provide ongoing support, coaching, and professional development to ensure team members are effective and motivated.
- Recognize and appreciate volunteers for their contributions and commitment to the organization.
Event Management:
- Plan, organize, and execute fundraising events, including galas, benefit dinners, and community outreach events.
- Work with event committees and volunteers to ensure successful event execution.
- Manage event budgets, logistics, and post-event follow-up.
Communications and Marketing:
- Work with the communications team to develop and execute marketing strategies that promote fundraising initiatives and highlight the impact of The Noor Project’s work.
- Utilize social media, email campaigns, and other platforms to engage with donors and supporters.
- Create compelling stories, testimonials, and impact reports to showcase the organization’s achievements and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in fundraising, donor relations, or a similar role.
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding fundraising goals.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience managing teams and coordinating events.
- Familiarity with donor management systems (e.g., Bloomerang, Salesforce) is a plus.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Located in or near New Jersey for hybrid work requirements.
