The MSP Low Voltage Lead must possess proficiency in AutoCAD, with a proven ability to develop precise and comprehensive system schematics and layouts. A thorough understanding of industry standards, particularly those established by BICSI and TIA/EIA, is critical for ensuring compliant and robust system designs. Ability to create comprehensive bill of materials (BOMs) for project procurement. This role demands expertise in the design and implementation of diverse low voltage systems, including advanced structured cabling solutions utilizing both copper and fiber optic technologies, sophisticated access control systems, comprehensive video surveillance (CCTV) systems, and integrated audio-visual systems. A working knowledge of network infrastructure, encompassing network topologies, IP addressing, and network hardware such as switches is essential. This position requires good collaboration and communication skills, enabling seamless interaction with project managers, engineers, technicians, and clients. The Lead must also possess strong problem-solving and analytical abilities,
Experience Required:
3 years within last 5 years of experience in low voltage system (Network cabling, CCTV, intrusion, paging etc.) design. Relevant industry certifications e.g. BICSI RCDD, NICET 3-5 years of experience creating detailed drawings (AutoCAD, pdf), schematics and wiring diagrams for Low Voltage systems.
Education Required:
This classification requires the possession of a bachelor’s degree in an IT-related or Engineering field. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
