What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bakery Sales Clerk/Barista position at The North Bend Bakery?
Summary
As the Front of House Help/Barista, you will be essential in delivering outstanding customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will leverage your customer service and barista experience to oversee daily operations, including but not limited to managing the POS system, serving and preparing foods for "To-go" or "sit-down" customers, organizing, restocking, cleaning and ensuring food safety standards are met. Your expertise in time management and sales will enhance our service efficiency and drive revenue. With a focus on baking and bakery items, you will lead a team committed to excellence in food preparation and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their orders and inquiries
- Operate the POS system efficiently for transactions and cash handling.
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and baked goods while adhering to food safety standards.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and displays.
- Assist in food preparation and inventory management as needed.
- Pay will be $20 tips, which will at least be another $2/hour
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
