Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as a Medical Scribe. As a Medical Scribe, you will be responsible for accurately documenting medical records and assisting healthcare professionals in various medical settings.
Duties:
- Transcribe medical documentation, including patient history, physical examinations, diagnostic tests, and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Assist healthcare professionals with data entry and documentation tasks
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and accurate medical documentation
- Organize and manage medical charts and files
- Follow established protocols and guidelines for medical documentation
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to input and retrieve patient information
- Provide administrative support to healthcare professionals as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is required
- Excellent typing skills with the ability to type accurately and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Proficient in using computer systems and electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $17.68 - $21.29 per hour
