Classroom Teacher Long Term Substitute Position : - DESE certified elementar -.Familiarity with various literacy programs and approaches and various curricula programs and approaches, in particular Expeditionary Learning and Illustrative Math, iReady, IXL and Massachusetts Standards. -Ability to lead and manage a classroom for approximately four months. -Familiarity with Social Emotional Learning and methods such as Social Thinking, Collaborative Problem Solving, Zones of Regulation, Growth Mindset and Mindfulness. -Ability to assess students using a variety of assessment tools and to use the results of assessments to drive instruction. -Good communication skills -Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, administration and families -Willing to communicate student progress and needs to school administration, parents and other colleagues.
