Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained.
- Conduct floor care activities including buffing and maintenance of various flooring types.
- Execute custodial duties such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Assist in facilities maintenance tasks as needed to support overall cleanliness and functionality.
- Carry out industrial cleaning tasks in compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment issues.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and completion of cleaning assignments.
- Provide porter services when required, ensuring all areas are presentable for clients and visitors.
Skills
- Proficiency in commercial cleaning techniques and practices.
- Experience with floor care equipment and techniques, including buffing.
- Strong custodial skills with a focus on detail-oriented cleaning.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance procedures is a plus.
- Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks safely and effectively.
- Familiarity with residential painting is an advantage but not required.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with team members and supervisors.
