About The Role
The Manager of Quality Assurance (QA) is a critical role responsible for ensuring all aspects of the company's operations adhere to the highest quality standards and regulatory requirements within the nuclear energy industry. This position requires a deep understanding of quality management systems, nuclear safety regulations, and best practices. The Manager of QA will implement and maintain a robust QA program, ensuring the safety, compliance of quality-related company activities. This role will report into the VP, Engineering.
Responsibilities
The estimated starting salary range for this role is $150,000 - $173,000 annually less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a semi-monthly basis. The actual salary offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined in the Company’s discretion, which may include experience, qualifications, tenure, skill set, availability of qualified candidates, geographic location, certifications held, and other criteria deemed pertinent to the particular role.

Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the development and implementation of quality plans, procedures, and work instructions.
- Conduct internal audits and assessments to ensure compliance with the QMS and regulatory requirements.
- Investigate and resolve quality issues, including non-conformances, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor and analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and regulatory changes.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Science, or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance within the nuclear industry.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience in conducting audits and investigations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
