About The Role:

The Nuclear Company is seeking a highly motivated and creative UX & Human Factors Specialist to design and optimize the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) of our innovative "Nuclear OS" platform. This critical role will ensure that the platform is intuitive, user-friendly, and effectively supports the needs of diverse user groups within the nuclear energy industry, including nuclear engineers, project managers, supply chain teams, and field workers. This role will report into the Product Manager for the “Nuclear OS” platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop an intuitive UI/UX framework that enables rapid adoption of Nuclear OS across different teams.
  • Optimize human-AI interaction, ensuring project managers can easily interact with AI copilots and predictive analytics tools.
  • Work with the Digital Twin & IoT Engineer to create immersive 3D visualization dashboards.
  • Design workflow automation tools that enhance productivity without disrupting existing construction processes.
  • Lead usability testing, ensuring Nuclear OS is user-friendly and highly functional in high-stakes environments.

Experience

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Human Factors, Psychology, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 3 years of experience in UX/UI design, with a proven track record of designing and delivering successful user interfaces.
  • Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in design tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Estimated Starting Salary Range:

The estimated starting salary range for this role is $100,000 - $118,000 annually less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a semi-monthly basis. The actual salary offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined in the Company’s discretion, which may include experience, qualifications, tenure, skill set, availability of qualified candidates, geographic location, certifications held, and other criteria deemed pertinent to the particular role.
