The Position
This role will serve as the coordinator for Financial Assistance (FA) PK-12, acting as a key liaison between families and the various programs requiring FA support. In this capacity, they will oversee the implementation of Nueva’s strategic vision for its FA program, which includes the commitment to provide 100% financial assistance to families earning $150,000 or less annually, and ensure all families who receive FA are supported, have access to necessary resources, and feel empowered by a strong advocate within the school community.
A key aspect of this role will be ensuring that the broader Bay Area community understands Nueva as an accessible and affordable school that is within reach for families from a variety of backgrounds. This role also focuses on developing and refining systems, structures, and processes that promote socio-economic diversity, foster equitable access to opportunities, and strengthen connections between families and the school’s broader support network.
