The Nunes Company, Inc. has an immediate full-time position for a Walmart Replenishment Coordinator. This is an excellent opportunity to join a large industry leading Salinas-based, grower-shipper.
The Walmart Replenishment Coordinator will work directly with the Walmart team and assist in administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, answering emails, and phone calls to customers, adjustment memos, answering phone calls, input order entries and report generation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following as well as other duties and responsibilities which may be assigned.
- Develop and maintain mutually beneficial working relationship with Walmart.
- Monitor product prices on a daily basis.
- Coordinate with all commodity Product Managers on a daily basis to get volume forecasts for upcoming weeks.
- Communicate various product information to sales people and cooler personnel.
- Accountable for managing all customer related information needed to perform job functions effectively by utilizing controls.
- Maintain an awareness of customer’s current activities such as: new item launches, discontinued products, new product development, price changes and promotional / AD activities.
- Perform clerical duties that support the Walmart sales process.
- Answer incoming phone calls in a professional, courteous manner and assist customers whenever appropriate.
- Coordinate customer orders and accurately input into sales database.
- Assist with order entry, as directed by sales team.
- Responsible for effectively communicating all information pertaining to the customer with all parties involved: team members, transportation, sales, operations, demand planning, etc.
- Promptly and professionally respond to all inbound customer requests including phone calls and emails.
- Monitor internet-based business to business portals.
- Work effectively with sales personnel to resolve issues and disputes regarding shipments, products or accompanying follow-up activity.
- Ensure the security of the company’s proprietary and confidential information and material.
- Follows Company policies and practices while representing company in an ethical and business-like manner in all interactions with employees, government agencies, growers, customers, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
- Familiar with MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel and Word
- B.S. / B.A. Degree in Business, Agriculture or other related field preferred
