Position Overview:
We are seeking dedicated individuals for On-Call float positions with our wonderful partners in Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing facilities. This position offers flexibility, competitive pay, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in healthcare settings.
Shift Details:
You can choose your on-call schedule based on availability:
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 8:00 AM
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
- 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM - 12:00 AM
CNA Key Responsibilities:
- Sign-up: Choose your preferred on-call shifts.
- Availability: Be available and ready to respond promptly within your scheduled on-call shift.
- Communication:
- Call The Nurse Network at the beginning and end of each on-call shift.
- Answer your phone promptly if you receive a call from The Nurse Network during your on-call hours.
- Assignment: Upon notification, report to the assigned facility or community as soon as possible. (Travel time is accounted for.)
- Shift Completion: If no shift is assigned during your on-call period, you will have fulfilled your duty for the day.
Compensation:
- $24/hour for on-call shifts when not sent to a facility.
- If no shift is assigned, you'll be paid for 2 hours of on-call time.
- If you are assigned a shift, you'll receive payment for hours worked plus 1 hour of on-call time for each shift.
CNA Job Requirements:
- NY CNA License
- Minimum 1 year of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings.
- Must be a team player with strong customer-service based care skills.
- Open availability for your desired shifts on selected days throughout the week.
- Reliable transportation to various facilities.
- Must be responsive and available by phone during on-call hours.
