The Nurture Nest is seeking a dedicated and organized Kitchen Staff Member to join our team! This position is responsible for preparing nutritious meals and snacks for children, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen as well as throughout the center, and assisting with food inventory and deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and snacks according to childcare nutrition guidelines.
- Ensure all meals meet health and safety regulations.
- Keep sanitation supplies stocked and properly labeled.
- Maintain a food order chart and track meal preparation.
- Assist with putting away grocery deliveries and organizing food storage.
- Follow all food handling and hygiene guidelines to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Communicate with staff about dietary needs or food allergies.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
