Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sandwich Maker to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality sandwiches while ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met. This role requires collaboration with team members to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain an efficient workflow.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food preparation area, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized.
• Operate the POS system for order entry and cash handling, accurately processing transactions.
• Assist in food preparation tasks, including slicing meats, cheeses, and vegetables as needed.
• Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all products are stored and handled properly.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and addressing their needs promptly.
• Help maintain inventory levels by reporting shortages or needed supplies to management.

Skills

• Previous experience in a restaurant or quick-service fast food environment is preferred.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
• Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing.
• Strong understanding of food preparation techniques and food safety practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Attention to detail in food presentation and sanitation practices.
