Our client, Genesis AEC, is hiring a Senior Process Architect to be based in the Blue Bell, PA (19422), Philadelphia, PA (19106), or Medford, MA (02155).

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
The Process Architect works on various projects with a focus on highly technical buildings and spaces required to comply with cGMP regulations. Working alongside other team members, including project architects and process engineers, this role includes oversight of the entire design process on cGMP-focused projects and assists in a more specialized capacity to provide technical expertise on smaller process-focused projects. The Process Architect also communicates with clients / user groups to understand project requirements and develops trusting relationships.
Responsibilities of the Role :
As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you must be a collaborative and effective communicator who thrives in a team environment and can lead the strategic development of process-focused projects. Strong interpersonal skills are required to collaborate with both internal and client-facing teams.Demonstrated ability to develop designs in new or renovated facilities that integrate equipment, processes, and people.Meets with clients and process engineering to assess needs and develop an associated project architectural program.Develops ideas from conceptual design through construction documentation and ensures proper coordination and design input with the other disciplines on the team.Completes tasks associated with programming and concept planning, including the ability to delegate work to a support team.Participates in research, selection, and specification of process architectural building components.Oversees development of process architecture-related construction drawings and specifications that incorporate client, regulatory, and industry standards.Mentors, motivates, and inspires junior staff and assists in their professional development without the need for additional oversight to do so.Attends industry-specific social and educational events to stay up to date on the process architecture industry best practices and for networking and professional development.Build and develop client, business, and industry relationships, including identifying and leading pursuits of new opportunities.Collaborate with marketing to develop and maintain qualifications, project portfolios, and other marketing materials.Grow client base through the delivery of excellent services.Grow with client base through frequent, direct client interaction and leveraging of business intelligence.Author, review, and collaborate on process-focused proposals.Attend and participate in client presentations and project meetings when required.Travels as required for client development and project execution.Requirements
Education, Qualifications and Work Experience :
Bachelor of Architecture or Master's of Architecture, or degree in a related field with demonstrated cGMP planning experience.At least 10 years of related experience in a Process Architect role.Proven track record of successfully delivering architectural projects from concept to completion, demonstrating a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements (FDA, EU, cGMP, etc.), building codes, construction materials, and industry best practices.Technical proficiency in Revit and MS Office software.Excellent communication skills - including speaking, writing, and graphic communication - are a must. This includes being able to speak confidently and concisely, leading conversations in the programming and planning phases of a project, and developing materials to support those conversations.Can interpret building program requirements and effectively generate architectural design options and solutions.Flexibility to travel (occasionally to moderate, depending on project location)Excellent time management skills and the ability to work on more than one project at a timeBenefits
