POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization within our facilities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to take initiative and follow-through with minimal supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Have a commitment to provide the best cleaning services
- Be a good ambassador of our ministry
- Have a valid driver's license and ability to commute to/from work
- 1-2 years of housekeeping experience in a commercial environment
- Good knowledge of cleaning standards
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to perform cleaning activities throughout the shift
- Be able to life 10 pounds or more
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of techniques and equipment
- Be able to enter and exit buildings without handicap entrances
- Be organized and exercise time management skills
- Demonstrate ability to take initiative with little supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively and be a team player
- Be a good will ambassador for our ministry
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
DAILY/WHEN NOT IN USE
- Check and spot clean all areas. Ensure Bathrooms and Kitchen are stocked with paper products and soap.
- When not in use, clean rooms thoroughly in preparation for next group to include mopping, cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms, disinfecting beds, dusting and polishing all furniture and wipe down windowsills.
- Report any maintenance issues to Camp Director.
DAILY/WHEN IN USE
- Spot clean and restock bathrooms.
- Blow leaves and debris off porches and common areas as needed.
- Empty all trash cans.
- Restock soap and paper products.
- Report any maintenance issues to Camp Director.
MONTHLY
- Clean refrigerators and freezers. Throw away any outdated food/drinks in coordinator with Kitchen Manager.
- Clean all windows inside and out.
- Sweep and mop gym and kitchen floors.
CABINS: DAILY/WHEN NOT IN USE
1. Check and spot clean all areas. Ensure Bathrooms and Kitchen are stocked with paper products and soap.

- Sweep/vacuum floors and clean any areas that arise from previous day.
- Spot clean and restock bathrooms.
- Empty all trash.
- Report any maintenance issues to Camp Director.
TABERNACLE; WEEKLY
- Dust and polish furniture and accessories/décor.
- Mop or sweep floors as needed.
- Thoroughly clean and disinfect bathrooms.
- Vacuum and dust all offices.
TABERNACLE; MONTHLY
- Clean all windows both interior and exterior sides.
- Mop all floors.
