Float Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Float Teacher to join our educational team. This teacher will float between classroom with children aging from two years old - five years old.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to child welfare and a desire to foster a positive learning environment for students.

Responsibilities
- implement engaging lesson plans that the lead teacher has created when you are to step into a classroom.
- Create a safe and nurturing classroom environment that promotes child welfare and emotional well-being.
- Educate students on various subjects while integrating hands-on activities to enhance learning experiences.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff members to create an inclusive educational atmosphere.
- Utilize early intervention techniques to support students who may require additional assistance.
- Maintain effective classroom management strategies to promote positive behavior among students.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.

Skills
- Experience working with children in various settings, including childcare, preschool, private school, or childcare environments.
- Knowledge of early intervention strategies and tutoring techniques for diverse learners.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young learners.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability.

Qualifications

- Per Rule 3 requirements, candidate must be Teacher qualified through college education and experience
- Classroom management skills
- Experience in childcare or school settings
- Strong communication skills for interacting with students and parents

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
