What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Office Coordinator position at The Oaks Dental Group?
We are looking to hire a personable, experienced dental office coordinator for our busy three doctor practice. To be successful in this role you must have great attention to detail, be able to multi-task and be an excellent communicator. This role will also support the other front office team members in their duties. ***Previous dental experience is required.***
Primary Responsibilities:
- Communicating with insurance providers to determine if patients are required to make co-payments.
- Verifying methods of payment and collecting payments as needed.
- Review patient insurance documents and determine what procedures will be covered in addition to required deductibles
- Organize and maintain patient files and records, retrieve test results as needed for dentist's review
- Checking out patients and coordinating with other specialists as needed
- Answering phones
- Maintaining a full schedule for hygiene and the dentists
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
