YOUR ROLE AS A COMMUNITY LIFE - ACTIVITY DIRECTOR (THERAPEUTIC RECREATIONAL DIRECTOR)

As the Community Life - Activity Director at The Oaks Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, you will engage with our residents daily to design and implement a variety of therapeutic recreational activities. Expect to lead programs that include arts and crafts, exercise classes, and social events that promote cognitive and physical well-being. You'll be responsible for assessing individual resident needs and interests, ensuring each activity is tailored to foster inclusion and enjoyment.

Your typical schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing you time to plan engaging activities in advance. You'll also collaborate with fellow team members and families, build relationships, and foster a warm, inviting community atmosphere. The role is dynamic and fulfilling, providing you with the opportunity to inspire and uplift our residents every day.
