Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Dining Room Attendant/Dishwasher to join our team. As a Dining Room Attendant/Dishwasher, you will be assisting the cooks with washing dishes and preparing meals. You will be responsible for ensuring that the dining room is clean, all residents have been served , and juice is stocked.
Duties:
- Assist cook with doing dishes and preparing meals
- Clean and sweep dining room according to company standards
- Change or refill juice
- Dust furniture, wipe tables, sweep floors, do dishes and help in the kitchen when needed
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor with our residents.
Skills:
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning
- Ability to work efficiently and independently
- Good communication skills to interact with residents and team members
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and perform cleaning duties for extended periods
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience in dinning room or cleaning services is a plus
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
