Primary Responsibilities
- Strategic Pricing Analysis:
- Serve as an expert in pricing analysis by reviewing strategic pricing data, competitor information, marketplace dynamics, and promotional strategies to create pricing plans aimed at optimizing sales and margins.
- Leadership:
- Direct and develop a team of pricing analysts, ensuring that they produce accurate and impactful pricing analytics to support the Merchandising Strategic Pricing organization.
- Financial Oversight:
- Utilize high-level financial acumen to track key business metrics, continuously evaluate, and refine the pricing strategy for improved performance.
- Analytical Problem-Solving:
- Identify functional deficiencies and define alternative strategies based on data analytics, ensuring the competitiveness and relevance of pricing strategies.
- Ensure the strategic execution of pricing strategies through strong analytics skills and exceptional report creation abilities, maintaining a high level of attention to detail throughout the process.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or Data Analysis, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Merchandising, Retail and/or managing teams
- Intermediate MS Excel Skills: Skills in compiling and organizing large data sets, including data validation and error checking.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy and precision in entering data, as well as in communication.
- Leadership: influencing and motivating others, making strategic decisions, and providing direction
- Problem-Solving Skills: Quickly identifying and resolving data discrepancies or other issues that arise.
- Time Management: Effectively managing time to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
- Interpersonal Skills: Building and maintaining positive relationships with colleagues
