Enterprise Project Delivery Manager
$143,856.00 - $185,265.00 Annually
The Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), whose mission is to enhance the fiscal and financial stability, accountability and integrity of the Government of the District of Columbia is in search of an Enterprise Project Delivery Manager (IT Manager- Enterprise Program).
This position is in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). The incumbent is primarily responsible for managing the teams and work efforts involving the analysis, planning, design, development, implementation, documentation, assessment, and management of the programs/projects and sizeable multiyear budget investments to align IT strategy, plans, and systems with the mission, goals, structure, and processes of the organization.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Managing and overseeing one or more major multi-year IT initiatives; leading, coordinating, communicating
- Integrating and ensuring alignment with critical agency priorities; identifying, evaluating, tracking, communicating, and mitigating potential risks to project budget, timeline and/or deliverables.
- Providing subject matter expertise as well as management oversight in the assigned area of responsibility; developing processes, procedures, and methods for the oversight and management of a Project Management Office.
- Performing other related duties assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Seven (7) years of progressive experience performing the related duties and responsibilities such as managing and providing guidance on complex implementation of enterprise-wide IT projects/programs; experience managing and holding technical teams accountable in a matrixed environment; prior experience with application development; experience managing large scale IT budgets; understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies; and an agile certification is required. Familiarity with waterfall project methodologies, a Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery operating principle, and a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute highly desired.
