Position Summary
The role of the Senior Business Analyst involves coordinating efforts of the business analysts and facilitates discussions with various project stakeholders to effectively gather, document, configure, test, and conduct training on solutions related to the implementation of highly complex software products/projects. These projects may be cross-functional and provide innovative solutions that necessitate the development of new processes, metrics, and models aligned with strategic objectives.
The Senior Business Analyst is crucial in data migration, custom report development, integration design, and software configurations. If new features are requested by the customer, this role documents the requirements and transitions this knowledge to the Development team. This individual will become a product subject matter expert to understand and align client goals with product/project/process initiatives.
The Senior Business Analyst may also handle project planning, status reports, time tracking, financial management, training materials, and product support. These projects will significantly impact the organization's operational efficiency.
Supports customers with report creation, maintenance, and custom data requests for enterprise platforms like Tableau, Power BI, SSRS, and SQL scripts. Communicates system status and data issues to users. Conducts business analysis by gathering and documenting requirements, business rules, and data sources for new needs and applications, creating development specifications, developing test cases, and profiling source data.

Qualifications
Required:
- A college degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Typically has 8 years’ experience in business analysis or information technology (preferably experience in data warehousing, business intelligence, reporting and data analytics)
- Requiring excellent communication skills and professionalism
- Ability to manage task without direct supervision
- Self-motivated and must be able to keep self-abreast of technology and healthcare trends
