Scope of Position:
The Senior Finance Business Partner – Heart & Vascular Service Line, Comprehensive Transplant Center and Ross Heart Hospital (“Senior Finance Business Partner”) is a strategic partner in support of the academic medical center’s tripartite mission, supporting the Heart & Vascular Service Line and The Heart & Vascular Network (collectively, “Heart & Vascular”), the Comprehensive Transplant Center (“CTC”) and the Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital (“The Ross”).
Position Summary
The Senior Finance Business Partner (Hospital Controller) is responsible for leading the finance business partner function that provides strategic consultation, coordination, and leadership on financial and operational matters to operational leaders throughout Heart & Vascular, CTC and The Ross, inclusive of ambulatory, inpatient and community and population health clinical settings and programs. Specifically, the Senior Finance Business Partner:
- Provides finance strategy for Heart & Vascular, CTC and The Ross including opportunities to grow the business and deliver greater value.
- Provides finance officer functions for Heart & Vascular, CTC and The Ross including monthly financial reporting and annual budget preparation.
- Leads the business analytics/decision support infrastructure that provides a coordinated resource for business planning, strategic planning, and monitoring/ROI functions.
- Oversees business operations by providing insights and support into the clinical operations areas of Heart & Vascular, CTC and The Ross.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and 12 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in a finance role in a health care environment.
