Scope Of Position
The Post Baccalaureate will provide essential support to ongoing research projects. This position involves performing a variety of laboratory tasks and contributing to the overall success of research endeavors. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and a passion for scientific discovery.
Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory experiments using established protocols
- Prepare reagents, solutions, and media following standardized procedures
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments, data, and observations, both manually and electronically
- Collect, organize, and analyze research data under the supervision of senior researchers
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
- Assist with ordering and managing laboratory supplies and inventory
- Adhere to all laboratory safety regulations and protocols, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials
- Contribute to the general upkeep and organization of the laboratory
- Participate in lab meetings and present research findings, as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Selected for ACS Post Baccalaureate Program by CAMELOT.
- Requires successful completion of a background check; qualified candidates may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical, including a drug screen.
