What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supply Chain Coordinator position at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center?
Under the supervision of the Supply Chain Manager or Supervisor executes and administers a coordinated lean supply support system that operates efficiently and meets the needs of the clinical areas within OSUWMC. Stocks and manages supply inventory levels in clinical areas. Serves as the liaison between the Distribution & Logistics Team and all clinical departments. Maintains records such as dates of requisitions, delivery verification, invoice price confirmation, back-orders, implant pricing, and ensures accurate tracking of supply data such as back orders, manufacturer numbers, expiration dates, product recalls, and lot numbers. Ensures the implementation and maintenance of the two bin Kanban system. Maintains all required documents for accurate requisitioning. Demonstrates an effective combination of analytical, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or GED. Certification or vocational training may be preferred. 1 year of relevant experience required. 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.
