What are the responsibilities and job description for the Airport Dispatch Administrator position at The Ohio State University?
Assists Flight Education Director of routine and non-routine administrative duties by overseeing and performing dispatching activities for aircraft utilized for flight education and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA); utilizes the Flight Schedule Pro (FSP) system to perform all dispatch related activities, accurately create, update, and maintain student training records, student account information, and student employee engagement; manages aircraft and student flight scheduling for over 150 students per semester; provides administrative support to Flight Education staff as needed; supervises and trains upwards of 12 student flight assistants at various times; researches and responds to inquiries or complaints; performs other related duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications:
Education Required:
High School diploma or GED. Certification or vocational training may be required. Associate degree in relevant field may be preferred
Experience:
4 years of experience is preferred in a dispatch and/or scheduling environment for employees and assets. Or related relevant experience
The target hiring range for this job profile is $20.02- $26.33. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limit to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc
