What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server Administration Analyst position at The Ohio State University?
The College of Dentistry is looking for a Server Administration Analyst to join our IT team to support the research, academic, and patient care missions of our college. In this role you will help maintain and innovate operations from a Server, Device, and Application standpoint. As a team of three system administrators, you will back each other up, while covering key responsibilities unique to each administrator. Creating or maintaining documentation, inter-team collaboration, and end-user focused are essential characteristics for this role. Some key functional areas on our team of Administrators support include Server Management (VMWare and SQL), Active Directory, SCCM and Packaging, Log Management, Research Computing Consulting, and Digital Imaging application support. This position reports to the Director of IT for the College of Dentistry.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Education and Experience Qualifications:
Required: Bachelor’s degree in field of Information Services or equivalent experience
Desired: 1-2 years’ relevant experience
The Ohio State University College of Dentistry is the fourth largest public dental school in the United States and it is the only public dental school in Ohio. The college is divided into ten divisions with all major ADA-recognized dental specialties represented. The College has approximately 600 students in its undergraduate and graduate programs.
