Bakery Manager – Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bakery Manager to lead our bakery operations. The ideal candidate is passionate about baking and brings a strong background in food preparation, inventory control, and team leadership. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily bakery operations to ensure efficiency, consistency, and high product quality
- Monitor and adjust staffing levels to match business needs, optimizing labor efficiency while maintaining service standards
- Manage inventory, including ordering ingredients and supplies, while minimizing waste and controlling costs
- Supervise, train, and mentor bakery staff in baking techniques, food safety practices, and customer service excellence
- Assist in food preparation and baking, maintaining high standards of consistency, taste, and presentation
- Keep the bakery clean, organized, and fully compliant with health and safety regulations
- Work collaboratively with store leadership and other departments to improve product offerings and service
- Contribute to menu innovation by testing and introducing new baked goods based on customer feedback, seasonal trends, and store goals
- Track bakery performance metrics and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and profitability
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of inventory management and food safety standards
