The Om Spa is seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors.
As a Spa Receptionist, you are the face of our spa. Our Spa Receptionists portray a polished and professional demeanor at all times. Spa Receptionists are friendly, courteous, and go above and beyond so each guest feels as if they’re a guest in our home. We pride ourselves in hiring quality professionals who advocate the true meaning of an exceptional guest experience and build a long-lasting rapport for guests to return again and again. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and have a welcoming demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Greeting and assisting guests
- Checking guests in and out and ensuring the accuracy of all transactions
- Maintaining a beautiful spa, retail space, and reception area
- Spa boutique, and product sales
- Provide education to guests regarding our story, our spa boutique products and items, and our treatments offered for optimal results
- Maintain and provide accurate and timely responses to all guest inquiries and ensuring an exceptional guest experience
- Willingness to work as a team player to proactively support the spa’s needs
- Attention to detail in all aspects of spa receptionist responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Answer incoming calls with proper phone etiquette, directing calls to appropriate personnel.
- Manage appointment scheduling and maintain an organized calendar for staff.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and operating the cash register.
- Assist with retail sales by providing product information and upselling when appropriate.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude.
- Experience in retail sales is preferred, with an understanding of upselling techniques.
- Excellent phone etiquette with clear communication skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills to manage appointments and stock levels efficiently.
