What You’ll Do
As a Prep Cook, you will be a key player in the kitchen,ensuring ingredients are prepped, organized, and ready for service. Yourmission is to support the culinary team by preparing fresh ingredients,following recipes precisely, and maintaining high food safety standards whilecontributing to the seamless execution of our signature menu.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and portion ingredients, proteins, sauces, and garnishes according to recipes and specifications
Wash, peel, chop, and cut vegetables, fruits, and herbs for use in various dishes
Assist with butchering meat, filleting fish, and handling proteins as needed
Maintain proper storage, labeling, and rotation of all food products to prevent waste
Ensure the prep station is fully stocked, clean, and always organized
Work closely with chefs and line cooks to ensure smooth kitchen flow
Follow recipe guidelines and portion controls to maintain consistency and quality
Assist in the daily mise en place, ensuring all necessary prep is completed before service
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards, following all health department regulations
Execute tasks assigned by Chefs and Kitchen Leadership with professionalism and enthusiasm
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience as a Prep Cook, Kitchen Assistant, or similar role in a high-volume kitchen preferred
Strong knife skills and understanding of basic culinary techniques
Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and safety
Willingness to support the BOH team and contribute to overall kitchen success
Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift to 50 lbs.
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-first mentality
