What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mobile X-Ray Tech position at The One Health Group?
Responsibilities:
- Perform radiographic exams using portable x-ray equipment and other diagnostic imaging technology
- Set up and position patients for exams according to established protocols Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain equipment according to manufacturer's recommendations
- Communicate with patients and caregivers to explain the exam process and answer any questions or concerns
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation of exams and patient information
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for patients
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology
- Current state license and ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT)
- 2 year experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Flexibility to work at various locations and potentially travel to multiple sites in a single day
- Physical ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
