Top US law firm is seeking a HR manager to join the NY office.
Partner with the HRO and others to develop, implement, and maintain a new onboarding platform to facilitate a smooth transition for new hires into the Firm; create onboarding materials that effectively communicate firm culture, policies, and procedures
Partner with the HRO and others to help create and maintain a culture of respect, inclusion, development, and innovation in alignment with the Firm’s equity-and-engagement vision and objectives.
Collaborate with the HRO to assess accommodation needs and implement effective solutions in accordance with legal requirements and firm policies and provide guidance and support to employees regarding their resources related to workplace accommodations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files and data in the HRIS and payroll platforms.
Generate reports and analyze data to inform decision-making and improve HR processes.
Stay abreast of regulations, industry trends, current practices, new developments, and applicable HR best practices; ensure that the Firm’s Employee Handbook is up to date and comprehensive; and otherwise assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining personnel policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
Supervise the Human Resources Generalist, providing guidance and support for daily HR operations.
Oversee, with the support of the Firm’s Human Resources Generalist, the management and facilitation of daily HR related matters that arise, as well as coordination of employee leaves of absence (e.g., disability, FMLA, parental).
Support payroll management and firm-sponsored benefit plans, programs, and policies, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Conduct exit interviews as needed, maintaining information from same, and otherwise track themes of employee experience in an effort to improve the overall experience of Firm employees. Proactively assume other duties as necessary.
Qualifications and Experience:
Education and Experience:
A minimum of 4-5 years of relevant experience—including a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role—and a demonstrated track record of successful human resources leadership. Experience with Bamboo or a similar HRIS a plus.

Salary : $160,000 - $170,000
