What You’ll Be Doing
- Investigate and determine the compensability of workers' compensation claims.
- Assess claim reserves, negotiate settlements, and ensure compliance with workers’ compensation laws.
- Work closely with management, employees, adjusters, and healthcare providers to facilitate return-to-work programs.
- Promote workplace safety and risk management strategies.
- Handle large and complex customer accounts while ensuring claim resolutions are cost-effective and timely.
What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience).
- 1-2 years of experience in workers’ compensation claims handling.
- Experience managing claims across multiple jurisdictions is a plus.
Skills & Abilities
- Strong understanding of workers’ compensation laws and regulations.
- Knowledge of medical and legal terminology is a plus.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
