The Open Rose Flowers and Events is a family owned and operated floral shop in the heart of Milton, Florida. We offer seasonal flower arrangements for all occasions including weddings as well as plants, eurogardens, wreaths and silk florals.

We are looking to add an experienced designer to our small team. Successful candidates will have experience in floral design, an aptitude for retails sales, a willingness for hard work, a passion for creativity, to exude a positive attitude and to be a team player.

This job is perfect for you if you :

Have at least 2 years of experience preferred with formal floral design in a professional setting

Have an eye for design and a keen attention to detail

More Details :

Hours will be flexible ranging from 28 to 40 hours per week. We are a retail store with additional weekend hours during holiday periods will be required

We also offer wedding and event florals which can also require weekend hours.

What you can expect daily working for The Open Rose :

Creating arrangements according to The Open Rose signature style, evoking a particular style or sentiment and meeting the needs of the customer (including budget)

Customer service and retail sales

Assist with decorating the shop and vignettes

Checking, watering and caring for plants in the shop and greenhouse

Unpacking and pricing product

Maintaining a clean and tidy workspace and store front

Job Types : Full-time

Pay : From $18.00 per hour to start

Expected hours : 28 – 40 hrs per week

Extended hours on occasion

Weekends as needed when events are scheduled

Experience :

Floral design : 2 years (Required)

Retail sales : 1 year (Preferred but not required)

Customer service : 1 year (Preferred)
