Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Job Summary:
We are immediately hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to work with our team. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in the lives of our residents and their family members. You will establish caring relationships with our residents and work with them to ensure their comfort and safety by attending to their needs and reporting care needs to the nursing team.
Compensation:
Our starting wage is highly competitive, with shift differentials and per-pay-period-attendance bonus available. Additionally, we offer a range of benefits, including health care coverage, dental and vision insurance, STD, LTD, and life insurance, as well as flex spending accounts.
Job Responsibilities:
- Attend to the needs of residents and report care needs to the nursing team
- Establish caring relationships with residents and their family members
- Work collaboratively with other center team members to ensure resident comfort and safety
Qualifications:
- Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in good standing with the State of Michigan or graduate of a state-approved nursing assistant training program and will be scheduled for the state competency examination within 120 days of employment
- Resident-centered, patient, compassionate, gentle, empathetic, and a committed team player
- Ability to express self adequately in written and oral communication and to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary care setting
