The Nurse Educator plays a critical role in planning, organizing, and implementing standard care practices that align with our core values. Effective leadership is essential in addressing zero-tolerance behaviors, maintaining active communication with clinical and personal care employees, and supporting a culture of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical and personal care education and training on industry required topics and best practices
- Assist with the implementation and development of performance improvement initiatives
- Development, implementation, and evaluation of an in-house Certified Nursing Assistant training program
- Assist clinical leadership team with clinical rounding protocols and survey compliance
- Development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical and personal care staff mentoring program to aid in new and tenured employee success and engagement
- Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical strategy and organizational positioning to improve and diversify clinical outcomes and systems
- Act as a regulatory, case mix, and quality measure resource to the clinical services staff
- Provides clinical services support for direct care and administrative nursing as required

- Collaboration with department supervisors to ensure compliance with our Mission, federal, state, and local laws
- Reviewing policies and procedures to identify needs that may affect patient care
- Participating in problem-solving conferences for resident care
- Developing and implementing orientation for clinical staff
- Reviewing competencies annually in collaboration with clinical directors for all nursing positions
- SUPPORTING, EDUCATING, AND ASSESSING AN ENVIRONMENT THAT OPTIMIZES RESIDENT SAFETY TO REDUCE ERRORS
