The Oregon Clinic Director of Human Resources is an integral member of the leadership team, fostering innovation, collaboration, and driving all aspects of the human resources functions. Work closely with our physician owners and senior leadership to address challenges and achieve strategic goals clinic-wide and for our 30 specialty groups.
As a visible, collaborative leader, you will:

- Design transformative personnel initiatives that support The Oregon Clinic’s true north – being the leader in independent, collaborative, high value care.
- Align HR strategies with the Clinic’s business objectives and vision for high quality patient care and employee experience.
Essential Functions Guided by Your Expertise and Emotional Intelligence include:
- Strategic HR Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies aligned with the clinic's strategic and business goals, including talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning.
- Talent Acquisition: Lead the HR team in the full cycle recruitment process. Ensure the clinic recruits and onboards the best talent from diverse backgrounds for all roles. Find ways to increase qualified applicant funnels and ensure successful onboarding that sets new employees up for success.
- Employee/Provider Relations: Ensure physician and employee concerns are addressed timely and thoroughly including resolving conflicts, investigating complaints, and ensuring a positive, patient focused work environment that prioritizes excellent customer service and collaborative teamwork.
- Performance Management: Design and implement performance evaluation systems, providing feedback to employees, and identifying development opportunities.
- Compensation and Benefits: Oversee the administration of competitive salary structures and benefits packages. Ensure compliance with relevant laws.
- Training and Development: Oversee Training & Development team to identify training needs, develop and deliver training programs, and facilitate career development paths for employees.
- Legal Compliance: Ensures employment law compliance across the clinic as well as appropriate and timely response to legal issues.
- Financial Management: Successfully manage the HR department fiscal operations. Includes accurate budgeting, cost/benefit analysis of new opportunities, and ability to interpret financials and make sound business recommendations. Allocate resources effectively.
- Leadership and Team Development: Lead and mentor the HR team, foster collaboration, and promote a positive HR culture.
Salary:
Hiring range, based on experience: 170,000-$250,000 per year plus annual bonus potential.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in business administration/human resources is required.
- 7 years of progressively responsible leadership experience leading an HR department.
- 2 years' experience in a privately owned professional corporation with multiple shareholders. A healthcare experience environment is strongly preferred.
- The ability to adapt to the immediate needs of the company and its employees.
- Experience successfully building consensus among diverse groups and gaining precise alignment on goals.
- Skill in managing complex projects from idea generation through implementation.
- Strategic thinking abilities regarding workforce planning.
- Thorough knowledge of the laws and regulations in employee relations.
- Ability to create and maintain strong relationships with physicians, other department leaders, external partners, and others.
