We are seeking a full-time Endoscopy Technician to join our busy Gastroenterology East Endoscopy Center located in the Gateway district of NE Portland (near the MAX line). You will work with exceptional physicians who value their team and working together to help our patients get the best possible care.
Our busy practice receives a high volume of patient appointments and calls, and we are searching for a highly motivated, personable and organized candidate with a passion for quality patient care and ability to multitask. New Grads, Medical Assistant, surgical tech, or acute CNAs are welcome to apply!
Primary duties include reprocessing and cleaning scopes and other duties as assigned. Successful candidates will have previous experience cleaning scopes or central sterile processing preferred. CFER certification is preferred.
Workdays will be full-time Monday-Friday (Shifts will be four 10-hour shifts, day off TBD. Hours will be 7:00am-5:30pm).
Starting pay range, based on experience:
- Level I: $24.53 - $33.19
- Level II: $26.98 - $36.51
Medical, Vision, and Rx Insurance is 100% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for full-time employees.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Endoscopy Technician/surgical tech/acute CNA/Medical Assistant is preferred.
- Previous experience reprocessing scopes and or high-level disinfection is preferred.
- Current CPR/BLS within 60 days of hire. ACLS may be required by specialty.
- Candidates with Internal Medicine or GI experience are preferred.
- Prior EMR experience is strongly preferred. Epic Experience is a plus!
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Strong commitment to patient care and privacy guidelines.
