We are seeking a full-time Credentialed Medical Assistant to join our busy clinic located at the Providence St. Vincent Medical Office Building in SW Portland. You will work with exceptional physicians who value their team and working together to help our patients get the best possible care.
Our busy practice receives a high volume of patient appointments and calls, and we are searching for a detail-oriented candidate with a great attitude and solid prior experience, strong multi-tasking abilities and dedicated to high quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience and allergy experience.
Primary duties include rooming patients, obtaining vitals, phlebotomy, giving injections, assisting physicians, phone triage, scheduling appointments, and any other duties as assigned. In addition, this position will back up the front desk and provide other support as needed.
Workdays will be Monday to Friday (8:30 am to 5:00 pm).
Starting pay range, based on experience:
- Level I: $24.18-$32.72
- Level II: $26.60-$35.99
- Level III: $29.26-$39.59
Placement within levels based on specialty group, experience, and additional duties.
Medical, Vision, and Rx Insurance is 100% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for full-time employees.
Qualifications:
- At least two years of previous experience as a Medical Assistant is required. Allergy experience a big plus!
- Certification through a national agency such as AAMA, NCCT, etc. is required.
- Current CPR/BLS within 60 days of hire.
- Prior EMR experience is strongly preferred; EPIC experience a plus!
- Ability to work independently or in a team setting.
- Strong commitment to patient care and privacy guidelines.
