We are seeking a full-time Patient Services Specialist for our busy Ear Nose and Throat Clinic located in the Gateway district of East Portland. You will work with exceptional physicians who value their team and working together to help our patients get the best possible care.
Our busy practice receives a high volume of patient appointments and calls, and we are searching for an experienced candidate with a friendly demeanor, great positive attitude, and customer-focused work ethic. Candidates must be detail-oriented, strong at multitasking and dedicated to high quality patient care.
This position is primarily responsible for accurately scheduling all patient surgeries in an efficient and timely manner. Primary duties include obtaining prior authorizations and surgery benefit information, answering phones, scanning documents into our EMR system, updating and collecting insurance information and medical records, and performing other assigned duties, all while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in surgery scheduling. We are looking for someone who can learn quickly, problem-solve effectively, and greet patients with a friendly and comforting demeanor while continually contributing to improving our patient experience. Occasional travel to ENT East Gresham location required on an as needed basis.
Workdays will be Monday-Friday, (8:00 am - 5:00 pm)

Hiring Pay Based On Open Position, Experience, And Credentials
- Level I - $19.18- $25.96 per hour.
- Level II - $21.10 - $28.55 per hour.
- Level III - $23.21 - $31.41 per hour.
Medical, Vision and Rx Insurance is 100% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for full-time employees.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of Surgery Scheduling experience is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of medical front office experience is strongly preferred. Specialty experience is a plus!
- Prior EMR experience is strongly preferred; EPIC experience is a plus!
- Excellent phone skills and customer service skills.
- Excellent attendance and work ethic

- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, staff, and providers.
