We are seeking a full-time Supply Clerk to join our Gastroenterology Clinic at Gastroenterology West - Peterkort in SW Portland. You will work with exceptional physicians who value their team and working together to help our patients get the best possible care.
Our busy practice receives a high volume of patient appointments and calls, and we are searching for an experienced candidate with a friendly demeanor, great positive attitude, and customer-focused work ethic. Candidates must be detail-oriented, strong at multitasking, and dedicated to high-quality patient care.
Primary duties include supply management for our Endoscopy Center and outpatient clinic. This includes replenishing supplies, overseeing shipping and receiving, maintaining PAR levels, and ensuring the timely delivery of the appropriate products, services, and equipment to designated individuals. Opportunities for involvement in process improvement initiatives and adopting best practices are actively encouraged.
Workdays will be Monday to Friday (8:30 am - 5:00 pm)
Based on experience, the starting pay range:
- Level I: $19.24 - $26.02 per hour.
- Level II: $21.16 - $28.63 per hour.
Medical, Vision, and Rx Insurance is 100% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for full-time employees.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of previous experience purchasing and supply control is strongly preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of previous experience working in the health care industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic information technology and computer applications.
- Must be familiar with the technical aspects and general functions of an Inventory and Material Management Information System.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, decision making and problem-solving skills, and effective time management skills.
- Ability to work independently or in a team setting.
- Strong commitment to patient care and privacy guidelines.
