What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hiring for Children's Gymnastics Instructors- We Will Train! position at The Oregon Gymnastics Academy?
The Oregon Gymnastics Academy is currently looking to expand our coaching staff, and is now accepting applications for part-time recreational preschool and school age gymnastics instructors. Applicant must be available at least 3 days including Tuesday from 4:15pm-8:30pm and at least one weekend day from 8:45am-2:30pm. Availability beyond that is encouraged and welcome.

- OGA is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote and motivate character, fitness, and health in the lives of our athletes, employees, and community through the sport of gymnastics.
We happily provide a professional, comprehensive training program; so, while gymnastics experience is welcome, it is not required. We are happy to train talented individuals who are willing to learn the sport. Potential applicants should have a noticeable passion and enthusiasm for working with children, and a desire to grow within a goal-oriented, character building environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Class management and instruction with children aged 2 to 17 years old
- Provide a safe and fun gymnastics experience for our athletes
- Following lesson plans
- Keep on-going, accurate records of individual students’ skill progression and attendance
- Communicate regularly with children and their families
Qualifications Include:
- Applicants must be at least 16 years old
- Maintain open availability, including afternoons and weekends
- Maintain a regular, consistent schedule for up to 6 months
- All candidates must be reliable and demonstrate a great work ethic
- All applicants must pass a nationwide background check
