The Orenda Center of Wellness, LLC - (addictions and mental health treatment provider) - is a rapidly growing organization that is looking for a motivated individual to join our facilities team. We are a fun energetic company doing our part to fight the ongoing battle against the stigma of addiction and mental health disorders. Orenda provides the Medicaid population in the greater Maryland area with an array of treatment services ranging from inpatient addiction care, outpatient transitional housing, individual outpatient substance use counseling as well as independent outpatient long term mental health counseling services. Our company is currently hiring for a fulltime Maintenace Technician to assist and support our current facilities manager that oversees & maintains all of the organization's properties, service contracts and equipment including our fleet of vehicles. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, learn quickly. and be able to work independently as well as in a team setting. We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate individual to assist with the organization's daily maintenance, upkeep and expansion of our properties. This position will be working under the directive of the Corporate Facilities Manager and be tasks with responsibilities such as but not limited to, daily / weekly maintenance checks, building repairs, troubleshooting / responding to internal service calls, transporting and dispensing of farm / building supplies, inventory and upkeep of facilities equipment as well as any ancillary tasks / special projects assigned by the department supervisor. Ability to adapt quickly and productively problem solve will be a valuable skill in this role. Prior experience in facilities, janitorial and or construction work is required.
Being able to follow precise direction and compete tasks independently in a timely manner will be required.

Position Offerings:

Minimum Employment Requirements:
- GED or high school diploma
- Ability to pass a background check & drug screen
- CPR/First Aid Certified (preferred)
- Understanding of HIPAA, OSHA, and behavioral health services
Role Requirements:
- Able to lift 50lb or more with no movement restrictions.
- Able to use power tools, construction and lawn care equipment -- Prefer to have own tools for daily work needs
- Prior experience in facilities, construction and/or maintenance services (required)
- Ability to react quickly to urgent needs and have good time management skills
- Ability to work as a team player and take direction from management
- Clean Driving Record and ability to be insured on company policy
- This role requires traveling between all properties and facilities in the greater Frederick Area with use of company truck
