Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Food Runner to join our team. The Food Runner will be responsible for delivering food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and excellent customer service.
Duties:
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables promptly and accurately
- Assist in food preparation and garnishing when necessary
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth food delivery
- Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen team to coordinate order delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the food running station
- Assist in bussing tables and resetting them for the next guests
Skills:
- Prior experience in guest services or food handling preferred
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests
- Basic culinary knowledge or interest in the culinary field is beneficial
- Experience in banquet or hotel settings is advantageous
