We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pest Control Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and managing pest issues in residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pest control, landscaping, and lawn care, along with the ability to operate various tools and machinery. Your expertise will help ensure that our clients enjoy pest-free environments while maintaining high standards of service.
Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and potential risks.
- Develop and implement effective pest management plans tailored to client needs.
- Apply appropriate pest control treatments using hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and educating them on pest prevention strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatment applications and follow-up visits.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and adherence to safety protocols.
- Drive to various job sites, ensuring timely arrival and completion of services.
Requirements
- Proven experience in pest control or a related field such as landscaping, plumbing.
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery is essential.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess situations quickly and effectively.
- Must have 3 year driving experience
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and providing clear explanations of services.
- A valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Sales experience is a plus, as you may be required to promote additional services to clients.
- High school diploma OR GED.
