Food Server

The Original Hick'ry Pit is looking for a competent and reliable Food Server to be the face of our restaurant. The responsibilities will include taking orders, inputting orders into the POS System, delivering the food, and ensuring the best overall guest experience. We are looking for someone that is quick on their feet, has a polite and friendly attitude, enjoys talking to guests, and thrives in fast-paced environments. The ultimate goal is to provide high-quality service that will help us maintain and attract more and more guests.

Responsibilities

• Present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages via suggestive selling and upselling
• Take orders, input in our POS, and serve orders ensuring accuracy
• Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
• Issue bills and accept payment

Skills

• Weekend availability (Saturdays & Sundays)
• At least 1 year of proven serving or waitering experience
• Attention to detail and cleanliness
• Problem solving and decision making ability
• Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude
• Passionate about customer/guest service
• Responsible, reliable, and trustworthy
• Basic Computer/POS knowledge

Shifts

• Sunday: 9am - 3pm/Business Decline
• Monday: 1pm/2pm - 9pm/Close or Business Decline
• Thursday: 1pm/2pm - 9pm/Close or Business Decline
• Friday: 1pm/2pm - 9pm/Close or Business Decline
• Saturday: 1pm/2pm - 9pm/Close or Business Decline

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150.00 - $200.00 per day
