What are the responsibilities and job description for the Busser position at The Original Mel's Diner?
The Original Mels is looking for experienced Bussers at our Boomtown location. Applicants must be available to work weekends and nights. This is a high volume, fast paced restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner and provides profitable opportunities for strong performers in an environment that is friendly and fun.
Bussers clean tables, taking plates, utensils and drinkware to the kitchen to be washed, make sure diners' water glasses are full, and reset tables for the next service. Bussers help food servers bring food out to a table, restock utensils, napkins and other dining room needs. Bussers also contribute to restaurant cleanliness through various projects depending on business needs. Bussers also help at the register and with seating guests when appropriate. This is an entry level position that can lead to advancement opportunities to someone who is hard working and reliable.
