Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a dynamic dining environment. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, preferably Aloha POS.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our fine dining standards.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
- Perform basic math calculations for order totals and ensure accurate billing.
Requirements
- Previous experience in dining or fast paced restaurant setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems, specifically Aloha POS, is a plus.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and order calculations.
- Knowledge of culinary practices and food safety standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks related to serving duties.
