Short Description:
The Tennessee Valley's leader in orthopaedics, spine surgery and sports medicine, The Orthopaedic Center, is looking for a highly motivated Registration Team Lead. This opening is a full-time position averaging 40 hours per week in the Athens Office. Employee must be a team player and a leader. As a Registration Team Lead, employee will have an array of duties including supervising and creating weekly schedules. Employee must be able to communicate effectively with patients, TOC physicians and staff.
Detailed Description:
Primary Responsibilities/Requirements:
- Greet and assist with check–in duties of all patients presenting for appointments
- Check-out patients, to include scheduling appointments and collecting co-payments
- Registration of patient demographics
- Scan all documents associated with registration completion into patient charts
- Verifying insurance
- Answering phones, including scheduling appointments
- Proficiency in operating systems
- Assist with facility operational issues
- Assist other offices with coverage issues when needed
- Create and maintain weekly schedule
- Ability to supervise staff
- Ability to multi-task in busy environment
- Any other tasks as assigned

- Proven positive, "teamwork" attitude in work history
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to use arms, hands, and fingers skillfully
